I know enough and have the skill set to change it enough. :P

Yeah I understand what you are shaking the stick at.

I will post some photos later of the little lathe at work.
I think you will be horrified but also understand why its cutting the taper it is.
First attached image is the bed up near the chuck.

Second attached image is the machine model so you know what you should be looking at.

For the last few months I had an old, worn out, 10 inch supercharger pulley sitting under my bench at work, didn't want to throw it away, but wasn't sure what to do with it.

So, this morning, I fired up the old centre lathe and turned it into an aluminium with stainless mesh sieve for draining and cleaning my tumblers stainless pins. Lucky for me I had a sheet of 100 micron stainless filter mesh laying around that I could "borrow",

Use a strong magnet, fishing time, if you dont want to pull apart the plumbing.
