Wish we had something like that, SSAA St Marys just does not cut it.

Lithgow SAF Museum is about the best thing we have in Australia, a wonderful collection and well worth spending hours there.

There is also the Australian Infantry Museum at Singleton. I'll add a link to the post when I get home.
It goes through a historical timeline of our Infantry using information boards about campaigns, displays of weapons, and equipment including enemy gear. There's even a helicopter in there!

.....if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and talks like a duck, but enough people call it a chicken, then it will be a chicken!

think about it...

Great place I took my grandson there last Sunday.

This isn't rocket science guys ... it's more complicated than that, and it has aspects of the Dark Arts, And this smokeless stuff will not last

I'll also add my vote for the Infantry Museum at Singleton. An absolutely first class museum, equal in quality and presentation to the Australian War Memorial. Proof also that size is not everything. Staffed by some very knowledgeable and dedicated people. :)

Fascinating visual comparison of how the firepower of the Australian infantry section has evolved over the years.

There must be some mistake. And I have a nasty feeling I was there when I made it.....
