Send-it created the topic: Popular and Accurate loads for the 7mm calibre cartridges.
"what is a good load in the 7mm Rifle Cartridges?" (e.g 280rem, 7-08, 7win mag, 7x57 etc.)

So if you good folk out there don't mind sharing, could you please post the loads that have worked well for you, in regards to reliability, accuracy, and terminal performance.
The 7mm (or .284") bore size is a popular cartridge calibre for both hunting and target work, and the more loads that work, we can share, the better.
Could you please also share the following data;

1) Rifle type and model etc, (and barrel twist if you know it)
2) case,
3) primer,
4) powder (+ amount),
5) projectile,
6) cartridge-over-all-length (or to the lands),
7) estimated or known velocity
8 ) Bullet performance (group size etc) (pics are good here too)
9) a short note about its terminal (hunting) performance, if applicable.

note; What may be safe in one firearm may not be safe in another.
safe shooting. B)

Tikka T3 in 7mm RM

Factory barrel 1:9.5 twist, Mounted in MDT TAC21 Chassis.
Remington cases it was all I could get
CCI large rifle magnum primer
168Gn Berger Hunting VLD
72.5Gn of AR2225 powder
Projectile seated 0.020" from the lands measured to the ogive to fit mag length, started out kissing lands for but no observable difference and wanted the mag.
No chrony but expecting 2800-2950

The following is a 4 shot group (last lot in load development not 5 as I ran out of brass) @ 100m. Below is a recent red deer taken on a cull trip for a farmer not a long shot at 150 ish but I was worried about the projectile performance as I have never used the VLD's on game. I was impressed with this heart lung shot, passed through exited low on the front shoulder but not before turning the insides to jelly and breaking up somewhat. There were a couple of does out to 300 that were not all that impressed with the VLD's too. Must say I was impressed.
