Weekend before last I got together with a few mates at the Nioka range for a weekend of informal long range shooting, we had steel targets set up from 200m out to 1630m.
I had not shot past 400m previously but after checking my ballistic app by sending a few shots at the 400m targets, by shot number 8 I was on target at 1000m bloody awesome feeling. Day 2 saw me successfully land 1 shot (out of 12) on the plate at 1360m.
Here is a pic of my group at 900m, 4 shots on the plate 5th one went right, stuck my hand in the pic as a reference.

Here is the target at 1360m, can just see the impact below the tape, I knew it hit as I saw the balloon pop.

Its great fun to shoot long range I have only shot at Nioka once out to 1260 yards but when you hit your targets its such a great felling
So well done there GD308

This isn't rocket science guys ... it's more complicated than that, and it has aspects of the Dark Arts, And this smokeless stuff will not last
