.70 caliber smoothbore with a brass cannon barrel & a left hand lock. The original ramrod was iron, & like the majority of ramrods on originals & reproductions the rod was too short to be practicle. Whether or not this was in fact an "original" ramrod issued to this pistol I can not say.
I made a new wood ramrod with an antler tip more suited to the length of the barrel.
There is no maker's name but my thoughts are that this pistol is French, or at least made in the French style.
