What clubs have days where you can apply and shoot items from your collection?

How is the best way to go about having a play with a couple of items from your collection? There is a form to request permission to shoot items from your collection has anyone gone through this process and how did they do it? I am in Victoria.

I live in NSW and I do collect long arms. I am aware that under the right circumstance I can shoot them. As for regulations in Victoria (and pistols), Don't have a clue, try here,

As I understand it, in NSW, you are not even allowed to posses ammo for a collectors gun.
I gave up when renewing my licence and dropped Collector due to storage requirements which are just way over the top for a couple of Cat C guns.
Stupid part is if you have a shooters Cat C firearm, including ammo, storage requirements are lower.

Just proves laws are made by people that have no idea of firearms.

In Victoria clubs can apply and have shoots with collectors firearms. Yes I was going to check that club out since they meet at a range. I have been told they have range days every now and then. Was hoping someone here would be a member of a similar club in Vic that would know the ins and outs.

Some clubs in Vic have "historical reenactment" shoots.
Members at such clubs can use firearms from their collections a few times a year.
