While surfing the web the other day i came across a Jungle Carbine with a full laminated stock. It looked really good to see an old war horse with modern furniture. I would like to do something similar with one of my rifles if it is possible. I asked the host website of the pictures administrator to see if they know the manufacturer but they didn't know.
I was wondering if anyone on here knows of any good quality and reasonably prices stock makers in Australia who may be able to copy the old war time wood profiles in laminated wood? Preferably someone with a copier?

I believe Boyds do laminated stocks for the Lee Enfields. Look under "British Lee" as the firearm make field. Here's a
LINK to the right section of the Boyds website if you can't be bothered searching for it
This may or may not be a Boyds stock (found it with a google image search, but Boyds do produce a pepper laminate stock very similar in colour to this:

Try Alan Bebend @ Stockworks in Werribee Vic.
I have used Alan for my shotgun stocks , he does great work.
Or Kevin Wright up near Buninyong , I haven't used him but a couple of mates have and they were very happy with his work.
Both guys can repair or make you a new stock.
Hope that helps.
